Dewatering Composter

Dewatering Composter

Capacity: 500 KG/Hour to 3000 KG/Hour
Wet Waste (Food & Kitchen/Vegetable waste) Dewatering Process

To tackle the pressing issue of high moisture content in organic waste, we've created an innovative solution specifically designed for large-scale waste generators in India.

Envicare has launched its “Dewatering Composter” product to address this issue and provide economical and sustainable solutions to organic waste management. This solution is based on three-step continuous processes (1) Primary Shredding (2) Dewatering & (3) Mixing

By implementing a screw press dewatering system, you can effectively manage moisture levels while maintaining the nutritional value of the raw material, making it an ideal solution for organic waste management

Organic Waste Management Process

Step 1 : Segregation

Segregate organic waste from other waste streams.

Step 2 : (Dewatering Composter) Processing

  • Feed organic waste into the OWC
  • Shredding reduces the waste size to ≤10 mm.
  • Screw press dewatering reduces moisture levels.
  • Mixing generates aerobic digestion, producing pre-compost material.
  • Achieve 40-50% volume reduction.

Step 3 : Mixing Cycle

Run the mixing cycle for 15-20 minutes.

Step 4 : Curing System

Transfer the raw material to the curing system for:

  • Maturing process
  • Further biodegradation

Step 5 : Mature Compost

After 12-15 days in the curing system, mature compost is ready for use.
